URBAN FORM AND
THE SUSTAINABLE PROSPEROUS CITY
29 June 2021 - 03 July 2021
CONFERENCE THEME
The city’s capacity to change and evolve in time is a quality increasingly regarded in relation to resilience and the pursuit of prosperity. Urban form holds a key role in this. As such, urban morphology is key in the design and management of our evolving cities.
This conference aims to address: 1) the state of the art in the study and understanding of urban form; 2) the current and future challenges that call urban form into play; 3) the relationship between urban morphology and other areas of science, and how to bridge gaps in interdisciplinary research. We will also discuss a number of key topics that reflect latest concerns and innovations in the discourse on cities at an international level.

CONFERENCE FORMAT
Due to the protracted uncertainty around COVID-19 crisis, as explained in our recent blog post, it was finally decided that the conference will be held as an online-only event, with no in-person component.
Whilst we appreciate this might be a disappointment for some, we will do our very best to deliver an exciting, engaging and memorable event for everyone.
Slán leat to all!
